NOTICE OF POST-UTME/DE REGISTRATION FOR THE 2026/2027 ACADEMIC SESSION
This is to inform all candidates seeking admission into the Federal University of Health Sciences, Otukpo, for the 2026/2027 Academic Session that the Post UTME/DE registration is scheduled to commence from 20th July to 20th August, 2026.
Registration Printout Requirement
All candidates must obtain a printout of their registration after completion. The printout can only be generated after O'level verification is fully completed on the portal. Please ensure your O'level results are correctly uploaded and verified before attempting to print. This printout serves as your official screening acknowledgement and must be presented during the physical screening exercise.
ELIGIBILITY
i. Candidates must have chosen Federal University of Health Sciences, Otukpo (FUHSO) as first choice University.
ii. Candidate must have passed a minimum of five (5) O'level relevant subjects, at credit level, in not more than two (2) sittings, including English and Mathematics.
iii. UTME candidates must have obtained the minimum admissible JAMB score for admission into the various undergraduate programmes as follows:

- MBBS, Medicine & Surgery – 250
- Pharm.D, Doctor of Pharmacy – 230
- B.NSc., Nursing Science – 230
- B.MLS, Medical Laboratory Science – 200
- B.Sc., Public Health & Epidemiology – 190
- B.Sc., Human Anatomy – 170
- B.Sc., Human Physiology – 170
- B.Sc., Computer Science – 170
- B.Sc., Microbiology – 170
- B.Sc., Biochemistry – 160
- B.Sc., Biostatistics – 160
- B.Sc., Mathematics – 160
- B.Sc., Biological Science – 160
- B.Sc., Chemistry – 160
- B.Sc., Medical Physics – 160
iv. Direct Entry (DE) candidates must be holders of First Degree/HND/NCE/ND/A'level result in relevant disciplines and subjects with a minimum of lower credit/merit or its equivalent. There will be no DE intake into MBBS, Pharm.D, B.NSc, B.MLS and Public Health & Epidemiology in the 2026/2027 admission exercise.
v. Candidates who wish to switch to this University should effect the change on the JAMB portal and select the Federal University of Health Sciences, Otukpo as university of first choice. Such candidate should select the desired programme for which he/she has the requisite UTME subject combinations and relevant O'Level results.
HOW TO APPLY
Eligible candidates are requested to visit the University website on www.fuhso.edu.ng and click on 2026/2027 Post UTME/DE Screening. Candidates are advised to carefully read the instructions on registration procedure available on the University website before commencing the registration.
Applicants are to fill their relevant information and pay the sum of two-thousand-naira (N2,000.00) only as screening fees through the same portal.
IMPORTANT NOTES
Candidates who fail to register for post-UTME screening will not be eligible for admission into the University.
Only applicants who uploaded their O'level or A'level results on the JAMB CAPS will be considered for admission.
Candidates are advised to monitor their admission status on JAMB portal as failure to accept admission after four (4) weeks of approval shall lead to cancellation of such admission and the candidate shall be placed under the refusal to accept category and be rendered ineligible to be re-admitted.
Applicants seeking admission into B.Sc. Mathematics programme may get a scholarship upon admission.
